Just a day after American artist Chris Brown took Mombasa by storm with his electrifying performance, rumors have it that Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho could bring in yet another American artist.
Joho promised to bring American rapper Nicki Minaj to Kenya and specifically Mombasa County.
Joho revealed that negotiations were underway and once everything was set, he would announce the date and the venue for the event.
The vocal governor announced that he would continue negotiating deals with international acts to promote tourism in his county. If the young money rapper makes it to Mombasa, it will be her third country to visit in Africa after South Africa and Angola.
Nicki is said to be one of the most expensive singers in the world. In 2015, Minaj was reportedly paid Sh200 Million after being invited for a performance in Angola by President Jose Eduardo dos Santos.
