On Saturday, Mombasa county hosted popular American artist Chris Brown alongside other international acts including WizKid and Ali Kiba.
Reports have now emerged that the much awaited concert was almost disrupted after a clash between two African artists.
It was revealed that Nigerian artist Wizkid and his Tanzanian counterpart Ali Kiba were engaged in a confrontation over who would perform before the other.
Sources close to the event organizers revealed that each of the two award-winning singers claimed to be the biggest – in terms of the fan base – hence should perform before the other.
Ali Kiba is said to have insisted that he would not take to the stage before Wizkid, leading to a disagreement that apparently delayed the entry of American RnB singer and main performer of the night Chris Brown.
